- Missing timed inspections, maintenance or service is a common occurance.
- It isn't always clear when an inspection is due to be carried out, with the Seton Inspection Timer this can be avoided.

- The timer isn't designed to replace an inspection label as they provide proof of an asset being inspected, instead it is designed to help you know when an inspection is due
- To avoid you missing inspection dates, a coloured LED is shown to portray the part of the cycle you are presently in, and how long to do until inspection is required

Inspection Timer Applications
First Aid
- It’s important that the quality of First Aid Kits are maintained and are always equipped for the purpose they are intended for
- Items that may be present in a workplace, such as first aid kits, Eye Wash & Emergency Showers , Burns Kits or First Aid Stations & Storage are required to be kept fully stocked, in order to provide the necessary safety items for employees
- Defibrillators should have visual checks which are done monthly, as well as frequent battery checks

Fire Safety
- With fire always a risk in the workplace, it is important that you are prepared for whatever eventuality might arise
- If an emergency occurs, and your fire extinguisher or fire blankets haven’t been inspected you run the risk of them not functioning correctly in the time when they are needed
- It’s important to periodically inspect your equipment
- Fire Extinguishers should be checked annually for damages. You should check the pressure gauge and that the extinguisher hasn’t been used
- Fire Blankets should be checked a minimum of once a year, with visual checks at least once a month
- Fire Alarms should be checked frequently (Maximum time limit of once every six months, but a quarterly service is recommended)
- Fire Evacuation drills should be carried out at least once per year to assess safety across your site
COSHH
- Having the correct equipment is essential for the control of substances hazardous to health. With that, comes a responsibility to maintain that equipment to ensure it is suitable for the purpose.
