Ensure your products adhere to the Waste from Electrical & Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Legislation which became effective on 13th August 2005
- New Legislation!
- The WEEE directive requires all producers who manufacture, import, export or distribute affected items within the EU to label those products with a crossed out wheelie bin symbol
- Affected products include items requiring power or containing a PCB (printed circuit board)
- This legislation aims to raise the level of recycling of electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) and to encourage designers to create products with recycling in mind
- Choose white print on a black background or black print on a white background
- 2 Label sizes available and choose from 500 or 5000 Labels per roll
- Note: Solid bar under wheelie bin indicates product is on the market after 13th August 2005 and negates the need for the supplier to include date of manufacture
