Saline Eye Wash
- Eye wash equipment is absolutely necessary in the working environment as accidents could take away one's ability to see
- Easy to use, simply twist the cap in either direction to break the seal, invert the bottle and direct the nozzle towards the inner corner of the affected eye
- Gently squeeze the bottle and tilt the head to allow the saline solution to flow across the affected eye towards the outer corner
- Repeat until the eye has been thoroughly irrigated
- Also suitable for general wound washing
- To use simply twist off the sealing cap and squeeze
- Available with an eye cup incorporated into the lid which ensures all of the solution is directed where it is needed, maximising the efficiency of the eye wash
- As with any eye injury, and in line with HSE guidelines, ensure that you seek professional, medical advice
- Eyewash bottles need to be sterile, meaning that once they are opened and used, they need to be disposed of.
