Service: Customer service agents don't always know their products. I have to tell some of them when I have last ordered the product so they can look it up on my order history. Their C&P charge (£9.95) is a bit steep, and as a result I only order from them what I cannot get elsewhere. They issue too many catalogues. I currently have two large (A4)catalogues and two smaller (A5) ones. The small ones keep appearing during the year. We don't need that many. It is a waste of paper.Our response: Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you would rate the service and products as good. Here at Seton we do have a very broad and diverse range consisting of thousands of products. This does mean that unfortunately it is not possible for every advisor to have intimate knowledge of every product. However, if you ever do have a question on an item - we do always know how to get the answer for you. If like in this instance it relates to an item you have had before, we are aware that time is very precious for our customers, and so looking back on order history is sometimes the quickest way for us to help. In terms of the carriage charges, these are inclusive of picking, packing , insurance and next day delivery on stock items. Further details can be found online or on the inside of the cover of your catalogue. In regards to mailings, we do send out regular updates to keep you up to date with the latest offers, products and any changes in legislation. However, we understand from your feedback that this not something you require; and a member of our customer service team will be in touch directly to help tailor the mailing list on your account to better suit your needs.

Service: Price on website and acknowledgement were different. Cannot understand why?? If you do not have Seton catalogue handy for free gifts code ref., then customer service should know what "free gifts" are available for orders over so and so to enable to choose.
