Deafgard is a safe, reliable and portable unit that uses wire-free technology to communicate a fire alarm to the deaf and hard of hearing
The deafgard is ideal for hotels and other sleeping risk applications to ensure compliance with DDA recommendations
To use, simply place the deafgard receiver unit at the bedside and the vibrator pad under the pillow
If a fire alarm sounds, the receiver 'hears' the alarm, a high-intensity strobe on receiver flashes and the pad vibrates to wake the sleeping guest
The deafgard incorporates an alarm clock facility
Requires 4 x 1.5v C size alkaline batteries (not supplied)
Complies with BS EN 50081-1 and BS EN 50082-1
